Handmade with love.

A few friends and family members have requested an online tour of baby girls' room. So without further ado, here is our little orange, teal, and yellow wonderland! Almost every detail and project in her room was handmade or re-purposed with love, by her daddy or me.

JD found the orange and white tennis rackets at DI. We are going to clip bows to the strings. My friend, Abby, gave me the quilt as a baby shower gift. She made it!

Most of the frames in the room are from Ikea or second-hand stores. We bought orange spray paint at Home Depot to add some new life to a handful of them. I painted the sunshine canvas. The wire heart was a gift from Abby. She found it in London.

I love the little pearl that dots the "i."

The yellow flower stencil paper is leftover from our wedding. I hot-glued the "love you" words on orange scrapbook paper with teal and white striped decorative twine. I crafted the yellow flower with scrap material from my grandma EG's collection.

The crib was a gift from my grandparents. I made the bedskirt with teal polka-dot fabric from fabric.com. It has three layers of ruffles and is pretty darn cute
(but was probably more of a pain than it was worth!)

The giraffe was our first baby gift from Penny & Derek. I made the elephant from one of JD's old sweaters.

Orange lamp from Ikea.

Love this pretty white frame. JD gave it to me for my birthday (it's from Hobby Lobby).

We got the dresser from my parents when we got married. We re-painted it and replaced the knobs when we re-did our last living room.

Happy banner! I cut the circles out with a Cricut from various scrapbook papers and sewed them together in a straight line (there are two circles sewn together and then bent to add dimension).

Thrifted magazine rack, spray-painted black, to store books.

Found a glider for free on KSL.com. JD sanded it and spraypainted it white. I re-covered the cushions with fabric from Hobby Lobby.

I painted the canvas. Heart frame was a gift. All other accessories from Ikea.

Our renters let us keep their queen bed downstairs. Yay for an extra place for guests! Orange sheets from Ross. Body pillow from Target. Flower fabric pillow and owl made by me.

White curtain rod and decorative dowels from Home Depot. Installed by JD. Yellow chevron curtains sewn by me with fabric from fabric.com.

Flower poster and white frame from Hobby Lobby.

Rocking horse found at DI by JD. He sanded and re-painted the wooden parts with the same paint from the dresser.

Organization bins from Ikea. Love looking at all her little things lined up in those drawers.

We are so excited to meet baby girl and love sitting and daydreaming in this room! I love the bright colors and fun details. We worked so hard together to make things just perfect.
